The field & the basics
- 6 on 6. A team needs at least 5 players to start; dropping below 5 mid-game is a forfeit unless both coaches agree to adjust numbers for a fair match.
- Fields are 30 yards wide and 50 yards goal line to goal line, with 10-yard end zones. Sidelines stay at least 3 yards off the field edge.
- Two coaches on the field — one for offense, one for defense.
- In Kindergarten only, a 5-yard neutral zone separates offense and defense at the snap. All other divisions line up at the line of scrimmage.
Uniforms & equipment
- Matching jerseys with unique numbers, shirts tucked in so the flag belt is always visible.
- No metal cleats, and no jewelry — watches, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets come off before the game.
- Division-sized footballs: Pee Wee for K and 1-2, Junior for 3-4 and 5-6, Youth for 7-8.
- Mouthguards recommended — not mandatory, but strongly encouraged.

Flag 1–3 are at McDowell Field; the fields sit side by side and one lot serves all three.
Weather & cancellations
Safety decides. Thunderstorms, heavy rain, or anything that compromises player safety or field condition can cancel games on short notice — protecting both the kids and the grass fields we all share.
Official cancellation notices go out from the program's mailbox to all registered emails, coaches relay the word to their teams, and a called-off game shows as Canceled on this site's Schedule and Game Day pages.
When weather looks iffy, check email and team channels before heading to the field.
